³⁸ And Jesus Himself was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion; and they *got Him up and *said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” ³⁹ And He woke up and ^(A)rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Silence! Be still.” And the wind died down and ^[a]it became ^[b]perfectly calm. ⁴⁰ And He said to them, “Why are you so cowardly? ^(B)Do you still have no faith?”
